Love's lament, a bitter potion,

Swallowed deep with every sigh.

Desire's embrace, a sweet temptation,

Leading us to heights so high.


Separation's tears, a salty river,

Carrying us on its tide.

Reunion's kiss, a gift so precious,

For which our hearts forever cried.


Love's lament, desire's embrace,

Separation's tears, reunion's kiss,

The symphony of bitter sweet melody

A love that's meant to be or not to be.
