Sun down…
Where day and night in tender union unite,
In hues of gold, and crimson's ardent fire,
The heavens ablaze, with day's last desire.
Like brushstrokes of a celestial artisan's hand,
The sky ignites, in a radiant command,
Clouds, like cotton wisps, in soft embrace,
Reflect the sun's last kiss, upon their face.
A weary traveler, bids farewell,
As twilight's gentle slumber begins to spell,
Its golden crown, now set upon the night,
Leaving trails of glory, in radiant light.
In this grand theater of the celestial play,
Where day and night forever hold sway,
The sunset's kiss, a curtain's gentle fall,
A promise of dawn, when day shall recall.
PS: Never knew one of my best poetry’s would happen while leisurely swinging around with a book, a cup of tea and a marvellous view of the sea…
