 A poem written a few days ago. Tried to put in words this beautiful idea of ephemerality 

which means; lasting for a very short time, short lived. Hope you enjoy this piece!

                                      

EPHEMERAL

The beauty of a smile

The naivety of love

The lofty little arrogance

The jaunty fling of joy

The piety acts of the law

The meaty roles assigned

The hefty sum we pay

For the nasty ups and downs

The sheer ambiguity

of this tiny little happening

With no certainty, we live

and would die one day.

For this petty little breath

is nothing but a flaunted façade.

a delicate fly of ephemerality.

 You'd by now be confused about who or even "what" I am, because of all the sane and insane stuff that I have been confusing you with. Solitude A veil upon my sight, A hush within my sound, A chill upon my touch. Isolation surrounds. In a world of echoes, My voice is lost and unheard. A stranger to myself, My own reflection blurred. But I still seek the light, That guides me through the night, To find my way to dawn. For solitude is a guide, To depths I yet reside, Where my true self is born.

  In emerald depths, where shadows loom A silvery enchantress, dispelling gloom, She emerges, soft and pale, From the trees, a cosmic veil. With whispers of the ancient night, She bathes the forest in her light, A symphony of silvered hues, Where darkness blends with moonlit blues. Oh, silvery enchantress, pure and bright, You paint the forest in your light, A canvas of celestial art, Where dreams and moonlight intertwine, from heart to heart. In hushed embrace, the forest sighs, As lunar beams caress the skies, A tapestry of light and shade, Where nature's secrets gently cascade
